On September 10, 1953 AJ was born to the parentage of the late Mack and Esiabell Manning.
AJ attended Carrie Martin High School, then moved
to Dallas, Texas where he began working in construction. He
then later started working for the city of Dallas where he worked until he retired in 2019.
AJ enjoyed fishing, sleeping, traveling and especially spending time with his family.He was an elder member at Born Again Outreach Ministry.
He is preceded in death by his parents Mack and Esiabell
Manning, his siblings; Dorothy, Mary, Ruthie, Hattie, Daisy,
Mack Jr., Bobby, Calvin, Willie, Carrie, Rosie and George.
He leaves his most cherished memories to his son;
Kendrick Harris of Dallas, Texas, daughters; LaTosha
Thomas of Karnack, Texas and Princes Fisher of Dallas ,
Texas. He also leaves 10 grandkids; KaSonia, Bryant, Kendrick
Jr., Sh’Kendria, Tralen, Bri’an, Brian Jr., Darius, Printis and
Jeremiah, seven grandchildren ; Brooklyn, Kadias, Terranie,
Kason, Messiah, Legend and Kaia, including a well number of
children, who he became a father figure or grandfather to. He also leaves his brother; Alvin Manning (Chanon) of Dallas, Texas and sister Ophelia Huff of California and a number of
nieces and nephews and a special friend Julia.
