A Legacy of Love, Strength, and Grace
Agler Appezene Smith was a phenomenal woman—a loving wife, nurturing mother, fierce grandmother, devoted sister, and beloved friend. Her presence radiated warmth, comfort, and wisdom into every life she touched. Born to the late R.C. and Nina Mae Williams on August 31, 1953, in Texas, Appezene was raised in the rich soil of faith, family, and farming.
She was a gifted entrepreneur and masterful seamstress whose hands worked miracles—creating elegant wedding gowns, formal dresses, and suits that made people feel proud, confident, and loved. But her gifts didn’t end with a needle and thread—her true calling was serving the Lord through song, prayer, and unwavering love. She lived humbly and gave selflessly, embracing everyone with her beautiful smile and gentle spirit.
