Barbara “Kay” Goldsmith passed away on Friday, June 12, 2026. Kay was born on August 1, 1960, in Big Spring, TX. She was a joyous person who loved being outdoors and going for walks. She loved all animals, especially her dogs. She loved her family and treasured spending time with them. She loved doing all that she could for others in her life. She enjoyed being a part of her Sunday School class at Harleton Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her son, Mitchell Musslewhite; mother, Barbara Henigan; brother, John “Mike” Benson; and ex-husband, Clifton Musslewhite.
Kay is survived by two sons: Toby Thorn and wife Regina of Gilmer, and Nicholas Thorn of Harleton; daughter, Rachael Goldsmith of Harleton; step father Robert Henigan; siblings Deborah Webb and husband Todd of Longview, and Robin Yaws and husband Joseph of Harleton; grandchildren Olivia White, Sidney Drake, Ryan Hoing, and Adrian Thorn; numerous step grandchildren, great grandchildren, niece, and nephews.
