Charles Ray Boyd

Charles Ray Boyd, (72), of Mount Pleasant, Texas, passed away peacefully on March 21, 2026.

Originally from Cason, Texas, Charles, affectionately nicknamed “Old Boy” by some family members, was preceded by his beloved wife, Joyce Ann, as well as his parents, Archie and Eddie M. Boyd. He was also preceded in death by his sisters: Willie McGill, Gracie Mae Boyd, Helen A. Ross, Joyce Ann Grant, and Aleanor Gaston, along with his brothers, Eddie, Archie, and Lee Phil Boyd.

He is survived by his sister, Gwendolyn (Willie) Davis; his brother, James Ray Boyd; his stepchildren, Theresa, Fredia, and Darren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
