Charles Johnson Obituary

Charles Ray Johnson was born May 29,1968, in Mt. Pleasant, Texas, to the parentage of Emma Jean and Hosie Johnson, Jr.

Charles was very well-known in the community. He attended Daingerfield High School in Daingerfield, Texas. During that time he had a sweetheart named Audrey Hayes. He graduated in the year 1987. He was very athletic. Charles loved his cars and dogs. No matter what he had, whether it was good or bad, he would always say it was the best. He always would say I have the best car or I have the best wife.

In the year 2009 fixing cars up under a shade tree, Charles and Audrey met again and flames were rekindled. They were joined in Holy Matrimony January 1, 2010, New Years' Day.

On Friday, August 31, 2018, God called Charles' name. He was preceded in death by his brother Eddie "Groove" Hendrix.

Charles leaves to cherish his memories: his loving and caring wife, Audrey Johnson of Omaha, Texas; his three daughters, Trenesha Johnson of Lone Star, Texas, Octavia Minter and Jasmine Minter of Omaha, Texas; his three sons, Zavian Gilstrap (Krizia) of Lone Star, Texas, Antwain Minter and Dasmine Minter of Omaha, Texas; his mother, Emma Jean Johnson of Daingerfield, Texas; father, Hosie Johnson, Jr. also of Daingerfield, Texas; sisters, Priscilla Johnson of Daingerfield, Texas, Suzanne Hendrix of Daingerfield, Texas, Daneille Bryant of Omaha, Texas; brothers, Jimmy Hendrix (Cassandra) of Linden, Texas, Johnny Hendrix (Erica) of Longview, Texas, Kenneth Fredricks of Cason, Texas, Kelvin Jones of Daingerfield, Texas, Tony Johnson, Sr. (Theretha) of Lone Star, Texas, Morris Boyd of Houston, Texas, Darren Everett Sr. of Seattle, Washington, Marcus Cobbins of Bunker Hill, Indiana, Terry Johnson of Mt.
