Curtis D. Jones was born to S.J. and Annie Lee Jones on October 14, 1950. He peacefully passed away surrounded by loved ones. Curtis was a proud graduate of Daingerfield High School and a dedicated member of William Chapel Baptist Church. His work ethic was evident from a young age, starting at JC Traylor Inc. at just nine years old. He later worked at T&N Lone Star for many years before returning to JC Traylor Inc., where he retired after forty-five years of service.
Curtis was a well-respected figure in the Rocky Branch, Mt. Zion, and William Chapel Community. His love for hunting, fishing, and spending time with family and friends was unmatched. He had a strong work ethic and was known for his heart of gold and stood on business! Curtis deeply cherished his daughters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and siblings. He will be remembered as a loving family man who left a lasting impact on all who knew him.
Curtis was preceded in death by his parents, S.J. and Annie Lee Jones, one brother; Thomas Jones, one sister; Martha Jones.
He Leaves to cherish his memories; Two daughters; Kimila Jones of Seagoville, TX and Churita Jones Moore (Carlos) of Daingerfield, TX. Four sisters; Dimple Patton of Lancaster, TX, Carolyn Myers of Dallas, TX, Rosa White of Daingerield, TX and Fannie Hayes (Mark) of Cason, TX. Two brothers; Robert Jones, Sr. (Wanda) of Lancaster, TX, and Charles Jones of Daingerfield, TX. Nine grandchildren; LaDarius (Peanut), Champaigne, Elisha, Shakerra, Gentry, Kiara, GeKayla, Lemerica, and Amare. Nine great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. A very Special dear first cousin/ brother, Anthony Cole.
