Donald Lee Obituary

On November 23, 1960, in Daingerfield, Texas Donald Randolph Lee was the third of eight children born to Mother Dorothy Faye Lee (Big Sister) and Joe Bryson. Donald was also known to Family and Friends as "Duck Lee".  His Grandparents; Elder Charlie and Missionary Vanilla Lee, Step-father Melvin T. Moore (M.T.)  2 siblings Georgia Mae Lee  and Carl Anthony Lee; 3 step-siblings Melvin Moore, Jr., Darren Moore and Otha Moore; 8 Aunts and Uncles preceded him in death.

Donald attended  and graduated from Garland High School in Garland, Texas. He received a Football scholarship to attended Sam Houston University.  He left Sam Houston and attended Ranger College for a while. He then attended East Texas State University (Texas A&M) in Commerce, Texas. While attending East Texas State, he made the  Football Second Team All Conference in the USA. He worked for the Pilgrim Pride Cooperation in Mt. Pleasant, TX for many years. After leaving  Pilgrims, he worked for FED-EX until his accident on January 17, 2004 that left him paralyzed for 17 years 9 months and 6 days until his death. Donald was a strong man through it all.  He loved football, basketball and dominos.  He love to joke about his Family and Friends.

Donald leaves to cherish his memories, his beloved wife Darlene, beloved mother, Mother Dorothy Faye Lee, (2) Daughters; Ambrea Lee,  and Dynasty Lee, of Daingerfield, TX (2) Sons; Dadrian Pierce and Andre Pierce of California.  (3) Grandsons;  1  Sister; Carolyn Wilson, (4) Brothers; Vince Lee( Myra), Gregory Lee, Mark Lee (Shawanna) Charlie Lee(Tracey) and 1 Step-brother; Quincy Hall of Dallas, TX. (3) uncles (5) aunts and a host of nephews and nieces, first-cousins and other relatives and friends.
