Felicia Yvette Latchison, 58, of Gilmer, Texas, peacefully passed away at home on September 15, 2024, while receiving care from Heart to Heart Hospice. She was a devoted member of Oak Grove CME Church, where she was under the guidance of Pastor Jerry Jeter. Felicia was a proud graduate of Ore City High School.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lillian Jones of Ore City, Texas, and William Wilkerson of Longview, Texas, as well as her beloved husband, Winfred Ray Latchison. Her family also mourns the loss of her grandmother, Ethel Armstrong, and her sisters, Verbina Andrew of Ore City, Texas, and Lillian Becky Davis of Longview, Texas, along with her great-granddaughter, La’Dominque Roney of Dallas, Texas.
Felicia is survived by her two daughters, Nikiesha Jones (Lawrence) of Gilmer, Texas and Pam Hendrix (Andrew) of Daingerfield, Texas. She is also remembered by her two sisters, Connie Jimmerson (Sheldon) of Longview, Texas, and Deborah McCain (Elvin) of Ore City, Texas, along with three brothers, Gary Jones, David Hodge (Alice) of Longview, Texas, and Frank Jones (Carla) of Ore City, Texas. Her legacy continues through her two grandchildren, Jeremiah Gilliam (Carliegh) of Longview, Texas, and ArMani Jones of Ore City, Texas, as well as her great-granddaughter, Serenity Grace Gilliam of White Oak, Texas, and a multitude of nieces and nephews who will cherish her memory.
