Floyd “Buddy Boy” Pearson was born in McKinney, Texas on May 25, 1954 to Major “Pete” Pearson and Dorothy Mae Pearson. Floyd Pearson was the first of nine children, which included six sisters and two brothers.
Floyd attended McKinney Job Corp in McKinney, Texas. He leaves behind his son Floyd Pearson Jr. and his wife Holly Pearson along with his grandson Caryson Lee Pearson and granddaugher Addyson Leigh Pearson.
He was preceded in death by his father Major “Pete” Pearson, his brother, Clifford Ray Pearson, and his sisters, Mary Ann Garrett and Tammy Pearson.
Floyd leaves to cherish in his memory: his mother, Dorothy Pearson of Daingerfield, TX, his son Floyd Pearson Jr. of Fort Worth, TX, one brother, Major Pearson of McKinney, TX, and four sisters, Carolyn Pearson of Longview, TX, Brenda Pearson of Daingerfield, TX, Anslino Grayson of Oklahoma, and Carmie Pearson of Mt. Pleasant, TX.
