Helen Faye Douglas Flemming was born in Daingerfield TX on January 17, 1951, to the parentage of late Charlie Red and Josie (Hendrix) Douglas.
She departed this life on May 24, 2020 at Memorial Stillia Health in Waycross GA.
Helen joined Mt. Moriah Baptist Church at an early age. She retired from Daingerfield Lone Star ISD. She attended JJ Rhodes High School in Daingerfield, TX.
She later moved to Oceanside California where she married, Harry Alfonzo Flemming on April 17, 1972, to this union one child was born.
She was preceded in death by her husband, mother and father, six sisters, two brothers and one grandchild.
She leaves to cherish here memories, four daughters; Alice (Robert) Evans, Patsy (Byron) Sykes, Rachel Kennedy, Lorena Johnson, 5 granddaughters; Natalie Jackson of Normady OK, Jessica Douglas of Atlanta TX, Jamantha Flemming of Baton Rouge Louisiana, La’shonta Flemming of Savannah GA, Jasmine Flemming of Daingerefield TX, 4 Grandson, Christopher Kennedy of Arlington TX, Jesse Kennedy of Jenkins TX, Alexander Fleming of Daingerfield TX, Johnny Chism of Daingerfield TX, 16 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren, 2 brothers; John L. Douglas of Omaha Tx, and Charlie Jr. (Gloria) Douglas of Omaha TX, 3 sisters; Julie Jefferson of Rusk, Tx, Linda Smith and Ethel Stern both of Omaha, TX, and host of nieces nephews, family and friends.
