Herman Woods was born April 12, 1940 to the parents of the late Archie Sr. and Codella Leftwich Woods.
During Hermans lifetime he work for Henderson Manufacture in Pittsburg, TX. He later worked art Kansas City Railroad and then Lone Star Steel Railroad where he Retired.
Herman loved to go hunting, he was active in the community. He was a member of Mt. Mitchell Chruch of Christ until his health failed him. He transitioned from this life September 21, 2024.
Herman met Ms. Lois Jenkins and married her. To this union no children was born. He was preceded in death by his parents; Archie, Sr. and Codella Woods, his siblings; Arterry “Terry” Sanders Louaria “Red” Grant, and Clarence “Speedy Woods”, Archie Sr. Charles “AC” Woods, Andrew “June” Woods Cook, and Edvernell ‘Ed’ Woods Moss, nieces ‘Peo’ Woods and Pat Woods. Nephews Willie Glen and Gary Grant. Also a loving son Ricky Watson.
He leaves to cherish his sons; Harold (Tammy) Watson, Fabian (Wendy) Brown, and Montoya (Sonia) Brown, Stepdaughter; Tera Jenkins, wife; Lois Woods. 10 grandchildren, host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and relatives. Also his special nieces Rosalyn Woods Smith and Cynthia Woods-Smith and Nephew Mickey Woods.
