Hantoyo Yamaka Dawkins was born on March 20, 1979, to Lillie Gholston and Ronald Dawkins in Dallas, TX.
After completing his education at Desoto High School, he attended Prairie View A&M for a year. Hantoyo had a deep passion for soccer and enjoyed watching sports. Embracing his Jamaican heritage, he took pride in his roots. One of his dreams was to own a shop, and he ultimately realized that dream by owning three.
Despite facing challenges in life, Hantoyo never wavered in his faith in God. He was a dedicated learner of the Bible, often seeking answers to his questions.
He was preceded in death by his parents, as well as his sisters, Samantha Spraglin and Tammy Jones, and his brothers, Sammy, Jones and Oliver Dawkins.
Hantoyo is survived by his wife, Yolanda Dawkins, and children, Tamoyo Dawkins and son Determinate. He also leaves behind his step mother; Wanda Dawkins, two brothers, Roderick Dawkins (Jennise) of New York and Peachal Dawkins of Dallas, TX, along with his sister, Felicia Wright (Gaylon) of Lancaster, TX, and a host of nieces and nephews.
