On January 25, 2001 A unique, handsome baby boy was born to Jerris Evans and Tamika Pleasant in Dallas Texas. Throughout his short lived life, Jakerris had jokes for you when he wasn’t in deep thought. He enjoyed basketball, playing videos games, fishing and spending time with his family and friends. Jakerris graduated from Richardson High School in 2020.
Jakerris was proceeded in death by his grandmother Cynithia Evans and grandfather Robert Pleasant.
He leaves not to mourn but to celebrate his life and cherish his memory, his father; Jerris Evans and his mother Tamika Pleasant of Dallas, Tx, two sisters; Marquintia Pleasant (Broderick) of Dallas, Tx, Jayda Evans of Dallas, Tx, one niece; Anyila Warren of Dallas, Tx, one grandfather; Walter Evans of Garland, Tx, one grandmother; Linda Pleasant of Omaha, Tx, six aunts; Tamara Evans Medford (Ray) of Glenn Heights, Tx, Verna Rice of Fort Worth, Tx, Deborah Pleasant of Chicago, IL, Twliah Pleasant of Carrollton, Tx, Pauline Bryson (Randolph) of Omaha, Tx, Martenia Hogan (Carl) of Dallas, Tx, three uncles; Rodney Arthur (Gloria) of Savannah, Ga, Robert Pleasant of Chicago, IL, David Pleasant of Fort Worth, Tx, two bonus moms Krista Ridling (Barry) of Richardson, Tx, Tara Hare of Carrollton, Tx, his special aunt and confidant Tamara Medford, special friends Dylan Johnson and Jaylen Love, special cousins Carlyiah Hogan, Lanasha Evans and Briana Dickey and a host of cousins and aunts.
