LaMia Raibon Obituary

LaMia Roshea Epps Raibon, known to family and friends as MiMi, passed away on April 8, 2026. Born March 23, 1978, in Pittsburg, Texas, she grew up in Hughes Springs and completed her high school education in Waco, Texas.

Mia made her home in Dallas, Texas, and found spiritual community at People’s Missionary Baptist Church. She built a career in the security field, working with Staffmark and Andy Fraim, where she enjoyed meeting people, networking, and forming genuine connections. Mia was known for her vibrant personality, her love of fashion, and her many beautiful hairstyles — she had a way of lighting up any room she entered. She loved cooking, hosting gatherings, and spending time with family and friends. In later years she embraced a renewed journey of faith that brought her strength, hope, and a deeper connection with God.

Mia was preceded in death by her husband, Terence A. Raibon; her father, Allison Von Allen; and her grandparents, Homer and Arlethia Fomby.

She is lovingly survived by her mother, Patricia Pippins of Hughes Springs, TX; her children: LaDavia Fears (Dallas, TX), Symone Richardson (Tyler, TX), Eric Gray Jr. (Duncanville, TX), Erykauh Raibon (Dallas, TX), JaMia Bonner (Duncanville, TX), MiJada Gray (Hughes Springs, TX), Sha’Hailey Askew (Hughes Springs, TX), and C-Rodneyah Lewis (Dallas, TX); siblings: Kevin Epps (Killeen, TX), Michelle Jones (Adrian Rose) (Longview, TX), Nakesha Allen, Damesha Allen, Allison Allen Jr. (Oceanside, CA), Denequa Love (Dallas, TX), LaQuita Mason-Brown, Lisa Boys, Alex Allen, Martez Allen, and Sarah Evans (Sunshine) (Daingerfield, TX); uncles Tom Wayne Gilbert and Robert Fomby; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends who will cherish her memory.

Special thanks and recognition to The New Hope Baptist Church family, the nurse from Heart to Heart Hospice, Mrs. Elaine Williams, Bishop Charles Miller, and all special friends who provided care and companionship.
