Luther James Turner, Jr.

Luther James Turner, Jr. was born to Luther James Turner, Sr., and Ernestine Warren Turner on December 30, 1947. Luther attended George Washington Carver School in Naples, Texas. He worked at Lone Star Steel and Pilgrims Pride.

Luther joined Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church in Naples, Texas at an early age. He also served in the US Army. 

He was preceded in death by his mother, father, brother, Marshall Warren Turner, and nephew "JJ" Turner.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his special love Betty Ann Turner; siblings, Randolph Turner of Houston, Texas, Van C. Ruthiel Turner and Revoyda Lynn Dodd, both of Palestine, Texas; his mother-in-law, Mrs. Turner; nieces, Brittany Turner and Byronne Barnes; nephews, Don Juan Turner, Jr. and Tarvares Barnes; great-nephew, Orin Andrews; and a host of relatives and friends.
