Mary M. Woodson–Everett was born July 9, 1933 in Morris County Texas to the parentage of Langston and Molisie Woodson.
Mary was a devoted member of the Mt. Zion CME Church. She faithfully loved and served her church home until her early departure on December 16, 2023. Mary served as choir president, Sunday School teacher and Stewardess president. Mary was one who truly enjoyed singing and writing her spiritual songs.
Mary was preceded in death by her late husband, Ben James Everett; both parents, Langston and Molisie Woodson; two brothers, W.M. Woodson and L.W. Woodson. One sister Mildred Evans. One son Bruce Everett. And one son-in-law, Jimmy Chism.
She leaves to cherish her memory - Five sons: James Allen (Edna) Everett of Garland, TX: Bennett Charles (Sabrina) Everett of Lancaster, TX: Roy Nelson (Linda) Everett of Dallas, TX: Thomas Gregory Everett of Frisco, TX: and Eric Eugene Everett of Irving, TX.
Four daughters: Mae Joyce Chism of Lone Star, TX: Darlene (Doug) Everett of Tyler, TX: Robin Vanessa Tinsley of Heartland, TX: Deneatha Denise (Nigel) Pryor of Dallas, TX.
Four sisters: Clara Mae Mitchell of Daingerfield, TX: Emma Jean Reagor of Tulsa, OK: Faye Dell Godbolt of Houston, TX: Jo Evelyn Woodson of DeSoto, TX, 13 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, 7 great-great-grandchildren a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
