Michael Shane Lincoln

Michael Shane Lincoln was born on November 20, 1963, in Gladewater, TX to Tom Lincoln and Marilyn Austin. He was the fifth of seven siblings. At the age of 10, Michael and his family relocated to California, where he earned the nickname "Orange-Head" after a failed attempt at achieving blonde streaks with hair dye. He graduated from Valley High School in Santa Ana, CA in 1979 and later obtained an associate’s degree in paralegal studies in 1993.

Michael was a charismatic and outgoing individual who had a knack for striking up conversations with anyone he met. His infectious energy, constant smile, and love for life endeared him to all who knew him. He had a passion for reading about interesting facts and world news, as well as indulging in his favorite foods while engaging in lively discussions with friends. In his free time, Michael enjoyed bodybuilding, listening to music of all genres, playing board games, and solving crossword puzzles. He also had a penchant for spicy foods and often challenged those around him to try the hottest peppers or sauces he could find.

In his passing, Michael is preceded by his father Tom Lincoln, grandmothers Lila May Lincoln and Mary Alice Austin, grandfather Tommy Austin, and eldest sister Lawanda Glasper. He is survived by his mother Marilyn Austin, siblings Loretta Austin, Angelia Graham, Yvonne Lilly, Carl Cox, Cortez Lincoln, Kim Lincoln, Tom Andrew Lincoln Jr, and Orlando Lincoln, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will forever cherish his memory.
