Niyla Rae Williams

Niyla Rae Williams was welcomed into the world on February 22, 2020, to the parentage of  Aalaysha Willams and Rodrick Jackson, Jr., in Mount Pleasant, Texas.

At just four years old, Niyla began her journey at Daingerfield West Elementary, where her radiant smile instantly captivated the hearts of her teachers and classmates.

Throughout her short life, Niyla had a remarkable ability to connect with others, leaving an indelible mark on everyone she met. She was truly a resilient spirit, always wearing her signature smile that will forever remain in our memories. Niyla had a unique way of sensing when something was said wrong; a glance from the corner of her eye would let you know she knew what you were saying.

Niyla is preceded in death by her beloved grandmothers, Nicole Williams, Cindy Jackson, and Gene Gilbert, as well as her great-grandfather, Curtis Evans, her great-great-grandparents Nina Mae Williams, R.C. Williams, Lola Mae (Samuel) Hayes, and Frances Gilbert, great aunt; Deborah Fuller, and her uncle Roderious Jackson.

She leaves to cherish her parents, Aalaysha Williams and Rodrick Jackson, Jr.; her grandparents, LaQuita (Desmond) Williams of Daingerfield, TX, Roderick Jackson of Pittsburg, TX, Casabry Gilbert of Lone Star, TX, and Sheena Chism of Lone Star, TX; her great-grandparents, Sharon Evans of Daingerfield, TX and Patsy Rogers of Daingerfield, TX; her great-great-grandparents, Wilma Hooks of Mount Pleasant, TX, and Billy Earl (Pearlie Mae) Evans of Daingerfield, TX. Niyla also leaves behind  a very special aunt; Cheryl Edwards of Lone Star, TX, Aaliyah Williams of Longview, TX, Toni McCellon of Mount Pleasant, TX, Bristol Gilbert of Lone Star, TX, Shenia Jackson of Daingerfield, TX, Tamerra Jackson of Daingerfield, TX, special aunt; Talisha (Roc) Thompson of Daingerfield, TX, uncles; Taderrian (Alicia) Williams of Hughes Springs, TX, Casabry Gilbert, Jr. of Lone Star, TX, Osiris Jackson, and great uncle; Mark Jackson, and a host of aunts, uncles relatives and friends who will treasure her memory forever.
