Pam was a graduate at Daingerfield High School in the Class of 1988. Later in her life, Pam decided she wanted a college degree and she accomplished receiving her Associates Degree in Business Administration from Kaplan University in 2010. This achievement led her to fulfill her mission to leave working in the factory to working in the office.
Pam started employment at Pilgrim’s Pride in Mt. Pleasant, TX and she also worked in accounting at Pilgrim’s Pride Corporate office in Pittsburg, TX. From there she started her career as an HR Administrative Assistant for Atlas Roofing Company in Daingerfield, TX. She then became a Work Advisor for Texas Health & Human Services, in Marshall, TX for several years until she could no longer drive the commute. Pam spent her final days working from home as a Customer Service Representative for Baylor Scott & White. She was also extremely creative in the kitchen and with an entrepreneurial spirit she became well-known in her community for her Kool-Aid pickles. She named her business “Mama Toots” after her mother.
Pam had a caring soul and a kind heart. She loved on people who loved on her. She enjoyed singing Christian hymns and her favorite Blues songs around the house. She was the cook in the family and cooked every dish her mother taught her. Mostly known for her 7- Up cakes. More than anything else Pam loved family gatherings. She loved spending time with all her Green Street family bringing joy and laughter.
Pam gave her life to Christ at an early age at Mt. Mitchell Church of Christ. She experienced growth in her Christian journey at Oak Grove Church of Christ. Pam spent many days and nights reading personal bible studies and’ building her relationship with God.
