Regena Marcelle Awtry, a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, was born in Marshall, Texas, December 4, 1945, and transitioned into eternal life, November 4, 2020. Regena was born to the parentage of Faye Vachon and Lewis Awtry.
She was a member of Harleton Baptist Church. She attended Harelton High School and furthered her education at Kilgore College and graduated. Regena worked for many years at Oak Haven Recovery in Marshall Texas, where she retired.

Regena was preceded in death by her mother and step-father; Faye and Pete Vachon, her father; Lewis Awtry, one brother; Marion Awtry, one daughter; Dawn Hamm, and one great grandchild; Rex David Dickerson.
She leaves to celebrate her loving memories her daughters; Karen Kunkols-Phillips (Kevin), Angelica Avila, Denise Knuckols, one brother; JD Fullen (Elizabeth), one nephew; JC Fullen, twenty grandchildren, thirty-five great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, and two honorary sisters; Karen Yates and Bobbie Gilroy, as well as a host of family and friends.
