Ricco Ronquail Turner

Ricco Ronquail Turner, affectionately known as ‘Blood’ named by his oldest brother because of his love for the color red he was born on May 10, 1983, in Pittsburg, Texas, to Ricky and Debra Watson. As the third child in the family, he grew up surrounded by love and support within the Daingerfield Community where he attended school and later graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School.

From a young age, Ricco embraced his faith, accepting Christ at Wallick Chapel. He was a devoted father, son, brother and partner, known for his warm-hearted nature and adventurous spirit. An avid lover of the outdoors, he cherished moments spent in nature, where he felt most at peace. His distinctive style set him apart, and his generosity knew no bounds; he would readily give to those in need. Ricco had a gift for conversation and always aimed to uplift those around him, demonstrating unwavering dedication to his friends and community.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ricky Watson, his grandmother Tessie Marie Turner, his grandfather Herman Wood (Deloise) and step father Richard Chism.

Ricco leaves behind cherished memories for his mother, Debra Watson; his children, Tyrell, Tyrec, Jacayden, Jordan, and Jordyn; his grandmother; Gladis Chism, his brothers, Tawaski Lawton of Irving, Recio Turner of Cedar Hill, and Nicco Turner of Lewisville; his partner, Matisha Austin (affectionately known as Vette) along with a host of relatives and friends who will remember him fondly.
