Robert Earl Hollins, affectionately known as "Hubcap," was born in March 1, 1957 and departed this world on February 1, 2025. He was the beloved son of Melvin Hollins Sr. and Christine Lewis Hollins. Robert graduated from Pittsburg High School in the class of 1975.
From a young age, he became a devoted member of St. Beulah CME Church, where he served as a steward and was an active participant in the choir throughout his life.
Hubcap dedicated his career to T&N Warehouse, Pilgrim Pride and BI-County Water, where he earned numerous accolades before retiring.
In his youth, he met his high school sweetheart, Sylvia Smith-Hollins, from Cason, TX, and they married and together, they raised two daughters and he also has a son.
Robert Earl Hollins is survived by his daughters, Christi Hollins of Pittsburg, TX, Shon Hollins (Dexter Roberson was a son whom he cherished as his own) of Lone Star, TX and Blake Ealey (Jalen) of Henderson, TX, along with four cherished grandchildren: Zion Roberson, Ethan Roberson, of Lone Star, TX, Jaliya Ealey, and Julien Ealey of Henderson, TX. He later remarried Tammye Bell of Pittsburg, TX.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Melvin Hollins Sr. and Christine Lewis Hollins, a beloved nephew, Marcus Leroy Hollins, affectionately known as "Harry Boy," who he raised as a brother. He also mourns the loss of Bobby Hollins of Pittsburg, TX, Robert leaves behind four loving sisters and one brother: Melvin Hollins Jr. (Maggie) of Pittsburg, TX; Jacqueline Rhinehart (Bill) of Lancaster, TX; Aliene Thompson of Dallas, TX; Diane Harris of Dallas, TX; and Tammie Beaty of Jasper, TX.
