Mr. Sammie Lee Spraglin was born August 15, 1924 in Morris county to the Union of the late Mr. & Mrs. R.T. & Betty Spraglin.
Sam received some of his formal education from SunView school in Cason, TX. He worked many years and later retired from Lone Star Steel in 1986. He loved baseball, watching westerns, and going to the casino.
He united in marriage August 4, 1949 - 1998, to Vivian (Sister) Crowder Spraglin, and they reared two beautiful girls. The Late Brenneta Samantha Spraglin and Felicia Wright. Everyone knew they were always welcomed in their home; and they knew they would get a good meal and a really good laugh. We all knew his favorite word after each sentence.
He is proceeded in death by his wife; Vivian Crowder Spraglin, one daughter; Brennetta (Netta) Spraglin, one son; R.T Spraglin Jr., two sisters; Allene Lewis and Elizabeth Stewart.
He leaves to his memories, a daughter; Felicia (Gaylon) Wright of Lancaster, Tx, one sister; Ray Nell Rogers of Cason, Tx, one special brother in law; Frank Crowder, six Grandchildren, one great granddaughter, and a host of nieces, nephews, and many relatives and friends.
