Tierra Trasha “Sha” Washington was born on November 20, 1981, to Celester Washington and Paulette Allen Washington in Naples, Texas.
She completed her education at Paul Pewitt High School, graduating in the class of 2000. Following her graduation, Tierra worked as a receptionist at the same high school. A devoted member of Union Chapel Missionary Church, she passed away on June 14, 2026, surrounded by her loved ones.
Tierra was preceded in death by her grandparents Cephesus and Jessie Mae Washington, Willie Allen, and a dear friend, Shuree Heath.
She leaves behind cherished memories for her children: DeMarques “Iddy” Thomas, Darriyah “D” Thomas, and Daysha Thomas. Her legacy is carried on by her parents, Celester and Paulette Allen Washington; her brother, Ryan Allen; her grandmother, Virginia Allen; her nephews, Ro’Shaun Allen Ryan Allen Jr., her cousin like a brother Broderic Terry, like nephews; Braylon Terry, Kiyan Lloyd and Antwon Heath; cousin like sister, Natasha Watson, Jakesia McGill, Kim Stephens, and Alysia Watson-Key; like her nieces; Charmya Heath and Kellenee Carter her special cousins, LaPorcha Watson and Chris “Redd” Black; as well as her loving friends, including Sharon Evans, Spring Edwards, Terri Dorsey, Linda, Kelly, Diana Mosley, Lauren Day Higgs, and Jeremy Adams, along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will remember her fondly.
