Mr. Travis Taylor was born July 1, 1960, to the parentage of Damon and Maurine Taylor. He attended JJ Rhodes High, Elementary School and Daingerfield Public Schools.
He worked for Golden Feast in Mt. Pleasant, Texas and Lone Star Tubular, Lone Star, Texas. He accepted Christ at an early age and became a member of Shady Grove Christian Church.
In his spare time you could probably find him on somebody’s pond fishing, that was his favorite hobby and if he wasn’t there, he was probably somewhere teasing one of his nieces or nephews and their many nicknames he gave them. There was a SPUR, FLEM JACK, JOCLOC, BUZZARD, PLAITS, DOCILLA, MOONEYES, PETE and the list goes on. I’m sure they all will cherish the many memories they had with him.
Mr. Taylor passed away Thursday, January 21, 2021 at Wadley Regional Medical Center of Texarkana, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Damon and Maurine Taylor, two sisters; Amanda Taylor Garrett and Annette Taylor.
He leaves to cherish in his loving memories one daughter; LaShunda Martin, two grandchildren; Dornell and Rejetta Martin all of Daingerfield, Texas, four sisters; Marie (Arthur) Crowder of Cason, Texas, Sally (Arthur Ray) Everett of Omaha, Texas, Kathrine Turner of Daingerfield, Texas and Elizabeth Taylor of Cason, Texas, one brother; Thomas Evans of Cason, Texas, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins relatives and friends.
