William Dwight Woodson was born on December 27, 1953, in Daingerfield, Texas, to the late W.M. and Zonelle Woodson. He completed his elementary and high school education in Daingerfield. Dwight was a dedicated member of William Chapel Baptist Church until his health began to decline.
He was preceded in death by his parents, several aunts, uncles, nephews, and close friends.
Dwight is survived by his two brothers, Larry Woodson (Antoinette) of Houston, TX, and Calvin Woodson (Crystal) of Daingerfield, TX. He also leaves behind five sisters: Mary Harris of Mt. Vernon, Vida Woodson of Daingerfield, Patsy Beaird Woodson of Dallas, TX, and Ellen Manjane of Dallas, TX, along with Tonya Woodson of Forney, TX. He is remembered by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and aunts.
